Castro Valley Camouflage
Remodeling has been underway for some time on a house on San Miguel Avenue, not far from Castro Valley Boulevard. Normally a long, complicated construction project such as this would include an unwelcome feature: an unsightly honeypot parked in the front yard. The people doing this project have, kindly, chosen to disguise the portable facility, and have done so quite cleverly. Indeed, Your Boulevardier didn't realize what was going on until he had a closer look.

Were the plants there or did they put them around the "facilities"?
I have the same question as Wudas. If it is a disgues, it's pretty good.
It's a two-part disguise. First, they've put a woven bamboo screen around the portapotty, presumably held up with stakes of some sort. Then they've put bamboo plants in pots around its perimeter. Because the plants have grown over the months of the remodel, they're now taller than the screen.
Remember that you can click on a photo to make it larger. If you click on the second photo, you can see both the screen and the pots.
By the way, this remodel is on the south side of The Boulevard, just past the Bank of America parking lot.
Probably didn't camouflage the odor, did it?
