White Christmas on Redwood Road

Your Boulevardier happened to be on the scene shortly after some pranksters soaped a fountain on Redwood Road this afternoon. He supposes that this is vandalism, but it was a good deal of fun to look at -- especially as winds picked up and the soap bubbles drifted in tiny clouds across the busy road.

That Fountain is always a bubble mess - I have seen it like that many times.. I almost guess that its part the plaza's MO to sud the pond once a week..

I walked past one of the warmest community spots in Castro Village this week "Capers" on Village way filled with all the regulars feasting on their comfort lunches. One of the seniors commented on the pond of bubbles and marks it as a CV staple.

I then entered the Post Office on Santa maria and felt at home with a line of folks out the door and onto the parking lot. No One seemed to mind.

It was cold in the Valley.. and the frost at Lake Chabot reminded me of my days back east.

Stay warm this week.

I drove by that fountain on my way home from work today. The bubbles were much higher when I drove by and there were big clouds of bubbles drifting in the wind. It made me smile. I don't know why, but I always love when that fountain is full of bubbles.
