More Chinese Food Coming to CV
A stroll through Castro Village today revealed that Chef's Express will open in the former Peking Garden site. From the logo, Your Boulevardier surmises that this will be a branch of the Chef's Experience China Bistro (Yelp link) on Foothill Boulevard in Hayward.
It's a near-certainty that the Wilson Ave Guy will want to chime in on this breaking news due to his careful tracking of the Asian Cuisine scene in Castro Valley.

Is Dang How Chop Suey still there?
Does anyone remember Teddy's Ranch, circa 1970? It was near the Co-op/Liquor Barn.

Vaguely remember the little stand near what was Co-Op. I think it's KFC now? There was a drive-thru dairy across the street too. And A&W Root Beer.
I'm headed over to Rose Art for some posterboard and incense.
Then stop by Fifi's Toy Shop and browse a while. (But not too long; the lady that runs the place follows you around 'cause she thinks you're shoplifting.)
If she gives chase I should be able to lose her around Simas Bros.
A different variety of restaurants would be nice. I love asian food but we have plenty of very good asian restaurants. Bring more Indian, Mediterranean, or Chop houses.
A real Pub would be nice (sorry Buffalo Bills, we need our own). Of course, more Italian would be ice too. (Although I do enjoy Sazios).
What in the world happened across from Rudys doughnuts. Clearly they have hit some financing issues.
And what about the Wishing Well on Center Street?
