Weekend Rainfall Totals
The rain gauge at Chez Boulevardier showed 0.51 inches of rain over the weekend -- a pretty substantial amount. Fortunately for the organizers of the Fall Festival, most of it seemed to fall at night.
Your Boulevardier was not able to attend the festival but would enjoy comments from those who did.

I did not attend the festival as my partner in crime had to work. We did enjoy a nice invigorating motorcycle ride in the rain. It was just a little rain.
We went to the Festival and saw the Eden Aoba Taiko drummers. They were enjoyable as always.
There was a composition from years past written by the original founder.
The rain fell again at the end of the Festival and it seemed like everyone was leaving town. Parking seemed tighter than last year. Good food.
Can someone explain why the Castro Valley Fall Festival is always held in the summer?
