Still Alive

Dear friends and readers:

Fear not. Your Boulevardier is still alive. He has been a bit overwhelmed by multiple simultaneous challenges and has let this blog lapse.

Sometime in early May it is hoped that we will return in a different -- ideally, better -- format. Some technical challenges await in the meantime, and the personal and professional lives have to swing back into balance.

Please check back occasionally. As Your Boulevardier has no way to reach out to you, he can only hope that you will check on him occasionally.

With kindest regards,

Your Boulevardier

Glad to hear you are still alive! I appreciate your telling us what's going on all around Castro Valley. Good luck getting through the changes. Looking forward to hearing from you again when you are able.

Best,
Carolyn

You would be surprised to know how many people read and enjoy your commentary. It is a huge undertaking on your part to keep up this blog but it is truly appreciated. It was sad to log onto your site and not find you there. Looking forward to more insight and humor from you.

I always enjoy reading your items about Castro Valley, and hope you can resume your blog soon. I also subscribe to the blog's RSS feed so that my email program notifies me when new articles are posted.

Here's an item from the mysterious far eastern part of the Boulevard: The shelves at PW Market are mostly empty, and the place looks like it's on its last legs (although the employees say it's just a temporary problem).

I too noticed the shelves at PW. I heard that PW is behind on their bills and they will not buy any more until they get caught up. I certainly hope it is not true that they are on the edge of bankruptcy.

Yes, I agree! I don't even live in CV anymore and I still check this blog...forlornly...:)

I am bummed to hear about PW! My second favorite store in CV--behind AL'S!
